Why don't I receive a copy of my own email from the list?

This is a known Gmail issue. When you post a message to a mailing-list from your "" address, the Mailman server delivers the message to all the subscribers - and that includes you. Gmail thinks this incoming message is the same as the message that you just posted -- so it discards it.

As a work-around you can have an acknowledgement email sent to you when you post a message to the list. The acknowledgement email isn't a copy of your posted message, but it lets you know that your message was received by the list.
