Why don't I receive a copy of my own email from the list?

This is a known Gmail issue. When you post a message to a mailing-list from your "gmail.com" address, the Mailman server delivers the message to all the subscribers - and that includes you. Gmail thinks this incoming message is the same as the message that you just posted -- so it discards it.

As a work-around you can have an acknowledgement email sent to you when you post a message to the list. The acknowledgement email isn't a copy of your posted message, but it lets you know that your message was received by the list.

Check the box in the 'ack' column for the subscriber with the Gmail account...
