What does a Moderator do?

The list moderator's role is to tend to pending administration requests, including approving or rejecting held subscription requests, and accepting/disposing of held postings. On a side note, list administrators can also tend to pending requests.

The Administrator must add a Moderator's email address and password (via the Admin pages under Passwords) then notify them by email that they have been added.

Note: If a Moderator is also a list member (subscriber) they cannot use their Member password to login to the AdminDB. They must use the Moderator password as set by the Administrator.

The server will send an email to the Moderator when there is a pending administration request. The email will contain the link to the "admindb" page which is where the Moderator logs in and processes pending requests.
